The easiest way to tell if your media player is configured properly is to run a Diagnostic Report. This is a built-in test that will verify if your player is properly connected to the network and the Mediplay server. As there are certain ports that the media player will need to have access to, this a quick way to tell if any changes need to be made to the networks firewall.
To run a Diagnostic Report, you will first need to connect a USB keyboard and USB mouse to the media player. While the content is playing full screen, press ESC – this will minimize the content window. In the toolbar, go to Help » Diagnostic Report. The items detailed in this report are necessary to take full advantage of the media player. If any of these tests fail, please contact your network administrator or Mediplay Support.
