To verify, configure, or update the WiFi settings on your media player, follow the steps below:

1. Connect a USB Keyboard and USB mouse to the media player.

2. If the content is playing, press ESC to minimize the content window.

3. Close the window by clicking the “X” in the top right-hand corner.

4. If prompted, click the Mediplay icon to sign in to Windows.

5. In the bottom right hand toolbar, click on the Wireless Network icon. This will display the wireless networks in range.

6. Click on your preferred network. Then, click Connect.

7. Enter the networks security key / password. Click OK.

8. On the desktop, click Launch Mediplay.  This will restart your programming.

If the network connection is made, you should see the Live Weather displayed in the top right-hand corner, and the Fader message(s) at the bottom of the screen.  You can safely disconnect the keyboard and mouse.

If you do not see the Live Weather and Fader, the network connection may not have been established.  To run a test, please follow the steps below:

Diagnostic Report steps:

1. Press ESC on the keyboard.

2. Using the mouse, click Help, then Diagnostic Report.  Found at the top of the minimized content window, this will run several tests, including a test of the network connection.

If test “1. DNS” fails, this means that the media player is unable to access the internet.  Please verify that the wireless network information has been applied correctly, using the steps above.

If tests 2-5 fail, please notify your network administrator, as these ports are necessary for the media player to function properly.  For more information, see this page.

If tests 6-8 fail, please email support@mediplay.com.
